My wife and I have been taking about purchasing a Navigator 250 for about a year now. The reason is I have an older Achilles LEX 88 at length of 8'8" and the weight of 70 lbs. it made hard to handle by myself. The Navigator 250 was almost the same size at 8'3", but 24% lighter at 53 lbs. My wife bought me one for Father's Day and I have not looked back once at my old Achilles.
The inflable is amazing in so many ways. The construction and engineering is top notch all the way around. For example, no wooden floor boards, high pressure inflatable floor panel, no wooden transom, fusion coated aluminum transom with PVC engine mounting cover, no wooden seat, aluminum adjustable seat, no glued seams, Thermo-welded seams construction, no simple air valves that leak, (4) High Pressure Bravo Airlock Valves, no rope handles for lifting, (9) High Frequency Welded Handles for lifting or stabilizing, no small D rings, (3) large D rings. I think you understand what I am excited about. Great product with great service is what I was looking for and got.

Solid unit once it is inflated, and with using an air blower and finishing off with the supplied foot pump, ready to go in 10 mins max.
Very well made and everything fits in place. Transome solid.
Works well on the water and easy enough to wheel it around short distances to the water. Discovery 3.3m currently with 2.5hp, but moving up to a 10hp soon.

Boat is Awsome opened the box on the Ningaloo reef in Western Australia and with a 15hp mercury engine went around 10 kms off shore fishing and boat performed flawlessly and so easy to set up and transport.

Everything from the early communication has been fantastic. I really appreciate the support and the information Education. We are all really experiencing a great time with it. Thankful and grateful.

Just getting my Discovery on the water. First, it is made with quality components that look like they will tolerate a lot of daily abuse. So far so good. And the 6 HP Suzuki pushes her along beautifully. The boat is dryer than I expected in chop and very stable/comfortable under way. And this entire package is super light and easy to carry. Even easier with the nicely designed wheel package.

We've had our Navigator 250 for a number of years now. As full-time live-aboard cruisers, we have certainly put it through the paces, using it on a near daily basis in a variety of environments, from the semi-tropics and tropics, to cool water climates such as Maine and New England, to a snowy and icy winter on the Chesapeake Bay. The customer service from True Kit has been spectacular.The dinghy is light and easy to handle; however, these contribute to our two biggest cons in that the dinghy is wet even in light breezes and chop, and in moderate or strong winds, it will drift on the waters surface and is quite wet. Still, we give it 5 stars and a high recommendation.

Had an issue with a Velcro strap on the boat and it was immediately resolved by TrueKit. Very happy with the product and the service.

Brought our 3.3m Discovery to take in our motorhome and explore the many waterways around Oz. Also live in Lake Macquarie so use it at home to fish from and just get out on the water. Love it. The team at True Kit are also great. Very supportive and give great advice.

Finally opened up the box on my truekit 400 today, three years of saving for my perfect sib and I’m totally satisfied with my choice.

I bought the Discovery 3.3 back in August, 2025. I have used it a bunch in lakes, rivers in Georgia plus saltwater on the west coast of Florida. It has been great. Once I got the packing down it has been pretty easy to fold up and pack. Only problem I have had was that the wheel assembly on one of the wheels has not worked smoothly. But Fergus worked with me to fix the issue and now it is pretts smooth sailing.
I have a 4HP on the Discovery 3.3 which isnt quite enough power but great along shorelines and rivers.

We shipped our 2.8M True Kit Discovery from Florida to our cottage in the Bahamas out islands last November. It's been used several times a week to explore the saltwater creeks and marshes as well as cruise the bays. With a 3-HP electric motor the setup enables us to cruise comfortably for hours at a time. We've had four adults and our 50-pound Australian Shepherd on the Discovery with no issues. We pull the Discovery up on sand beaches and rocks, and bounce between mangroves on our outings - also no issues. Adding the Bimini top was a really good move because the sun here is brutal.

That leads me to my next comments. The environment here is tough on everything. The sun and salt destroy even the things that were supposedly made to last. I always say the best day anything that arrives here will have is its first day...from that day on it's being destroyed.

Well yesterday we gave our Discovery a 1-year cleaning and "tune-up". We had not added air or removed the floor for cleaning since it arrived here last November. We did all that yesterday. Everything is in like-new condition! Even the stainless steel wheel assemblies are in great shape. We really appreciate good quality products like True Kit because its expensive and time consuming to ship things here. We need them to last.

Recently purchased a Discovery 400 powered by a 20hp Yamaha 4 stroke outboard, fixed with recommended foil. Absolutely LOVE this boat. I needed something I could pack up in my truck so that I could tow my camper. I have a special needs child so launching boats by myself can be a but tricky. The Discovery 400 wheel allows me to set the boat up in about 20 minutes truck side, set my kid on it, walk to the water, and go! It's AMAZING! Runs super shallow so you can hit rivers and lakes with ease. I've also had it on the big blue; the catamaran hull planes out nicely and is stable on chop. Fantastic, do a bit of everything kind of boat that doesn't require a trailer, and doesn't smash your wallet. Couldn't be happier.
